You won't believe `what I did over Winter Break. I got to go travel with Morgan and Walter - they're twins! We got to ride on an airplane. It was a lot of fun but I'm exhausted!
First Morgan and Walter took me to Prague which is in the Czech Republic. We saw lots of castles and churches and all kinds of old stuff. There was even a clock that was 1000 years old with dolls in it!
Did you know people in Czech eat Carp for Christmas dinner? That was a new one for me. I got the scraps. They were good.
After Christmas we got back on a plane and headed to Italy to go skiing in some really pretty mountains called the Dolomites. For our first ski run of the trip, we skied down a mountain called Marmolada. It's the highest mountain in the Dolomites ad if you're scared of heights, it's not for you. It was so windy and cold that as soon as we finished the first run it was time for some spaghetti. And, oh boy, does Italy have some great spaghetti!
After the Dolomites we headed down to a city called Verona for a couple of days. We ate more spaghetti (yum!) and even saw the real balcony where Romeo called up to Juliet!
By this point in the trip. I was about as exhausted as a dog could be, but we still had one more stop. That was Rome. What a city! We saw all kinds of old stuff in Rome too. The Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum and even the Vatican (that's where the Pope lives). We ate even more spaghetti (did I mention that it's really GOOD in Italy?!)
Anyway, after Rome, Morgan, Walter and I took another long plane ride back home. They got seats but I had to ride in the backpack- it was great- really cozy! Its was such a fun trip! But's it's always great to get home to Bullard!
